
If you are looking for very easy & short hiking around Kathmandu city with lots of fun, then this trek will be one of them. This trek is perfect for anyone who wants to experience the environment, local culture and mountains around Kathmandu in a short time. This also gives great preparation for those who want to participate in medium / high grade trekkings in Nepal.
Nagarkot is a former Village Development Committee located 32 km east of Kathmandu, located approximately 2200 meter above sea level. It is known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas which include 8 Himalayan ranges of Nepal out of 13, they are: Mount Everest, Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh himal range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Mahalangur range (Everest range) and Numbur range. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of Kathmandu city.
The trail passes through Shivapuri national conservative area, water falls, lush greenery forest & stone steps.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
We will pick you up from the airport and transfer to centre in Kirtipur. Later, we will disscuss about the program, have dinner and overnight in the centre.
Day 2: Kathmandu – Chisapani (2115m), 4/5 hours walking
1 hour drive from Kirtipur to Sundarijal & then hike.After having tea and breakfast, we drive to Sundarijal (which may take around 50 minutes), a hiking starting point, which is also known as a hangout spot. Lush greenery, sources of water and tranquil environment welcome us as soon as we reach there. We will start our hiking from this spot. We have our lunch at one of the guest houses. Walking through a few settlements and deep forests with a variety of birds and chances of meeting wild animals, we arrive at Chisapani (meaning cold water). It is Sherpa's village offering great views of mountains. Relieve yourself in the evening with yoga practice in front of the setting sun. The yoga class will last for 90 minutes. Have dinner and retire in the tourist lodge. On this day, we will climb lots of stairs.
Day 3: Chisapani - Nagarkot (2200m), 6/7 hours walking

We get up early in the morning to have a sunrise view with tea. You will enjoy the morning meditation & yoga practices with panoramic view of long range Himalayas including Mount Everest. We then have breakfast and start hiking towards Nagarkot. The whole trail passes through dense forest, making you forget the tiredness and making your hiking joyful. We will stop by Chauki Bhanjyang to have lunch and for a short rest. Then we continue our hike to Nagarkot passing through terraced fields, which also offers unmatched scenery of innumerable peaks along a large section of the Himalayas. The trail ascends up from Kattike Bhanjyang to Nagarkot. In the evening, you will join yoga class, have dinner & overnight in a tourist lodge.
Day 4: Nagarkot - center point, 1 hour walking
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise view. You have to walk 1 hour to get the sunrise view pont. You will do the yoga in front of the Himalayas (The class will last for 90 minutes). You will learn breathing exercises, relaxation & various yoga poses. After yoga, you will join for breakfast and then we hike down towards the center point from where we can drive back to office in Kirtipur, Kathmandu.
We can help you with shopping in the evening, evening meditation, relaxation & overnight in the centre.
Day 5: Departure
You can leave us after breakfast or plan another program with us !!
